Sleep

I just want to sleep, oh so soundly. I just want to sleep, so let the world close in around me. I just want to sleep, so say goodnight. As I fall asleep my eyes shut tight. But I can't sleep, no not without you. So as I lay here awake I wonder what should I do. Since I can't sleep I just lay here and think. I think of us mostly and the love that we'd make. I think of you and all that you've done. Just to make me happy you'd put out the sun. Just to make me laugh, you'd cry if you had to. Just to get me passed all these nights spent without you. So as I lay here and wait for sleep to find me, I just hope when I wake up its you who's beside me.
