Sleep

Don't obsess about death...
It will be here soon...
There are more pleasant things on a summer afternoon...
My IV isn't as comfortable as before... Hallucinations of water on the floor...
I grip but can't hold... I see but can't see...
You've always meant so very much to me...
I cough and I breathe, but it's hard to conceive, that the air in these lungs will soon make its leave...
Leave me alone, just let me sleep...
The secrets I have, I promise to keep...
