Sleep

Gently falling into slumber
    Waves of silent breaths unfurl
       Pillow soft, head, tis under
           bundled under blankets curled
Breathing slows
    heartbeat settles
       floating softly
            upon flower petals
Silky cuddled
    comfort sets
       A day of blunder
             soon forgets
drifting off
    feels like a cloud
        nothing pressing
            nothing loud
floating above
     in skyward motion
        dreamland comes
            swaying like the ocean
fall away
    from all that stresses
        during the day
            forget the messes
light as air
    deeper in sleep
        till morn does rise
            and bird songs seep
