Slave To Gold

Courage begets thee
In case I forget ye

Bring me back into the victory
In case ye forget our history

Luster and grace
Beseech ye’s foreign face

Slave to gold
The Lord foretold

Beneath heaven and hell
We drink from the desert’s well

Bliss may unfold
Only when fortune’s unfold

May we drink and be merry
For we have vanquished the adversary

The Messiah has come quickly
To heal the lame and sickly

No better than today
Was tomorrow’s yesterday

The warriors of heaven shall rejoice
Only when the deceivers lose their voice

Follow the light
Come out of the light

He’s calling his children near
To a life redeemed without fear

Send forth the humble
They will stand and not crumble
