Slave To a Woman's Tears

I am not a superman
But I will help you if I can
Just tell me what put that teardrop in your eye
I am no one’s gallant knight
But I’ll always join the fight
Any time that I see a woman cry

I’m often played for the fool
Because I always lose my cool
Whenever I see a woman drown in her tears
There is something deep inside
That makes me rush to her side
And I’ve done it for all my adult years

I am putty in her hands
Doing all that she demands
Whenever the water works have been turned on
I will do everything I can
To make her smile again
And will stay on it until all the tears are gone

Whether plain or pretty
It doesn’t matter much to me
Helping out is just in my DNA
Be they fake or be they real
They always act like an appeal
For me to do anything that they say

I know this is a flawed trait
And I will give it to you straight
This has never put a single woman in my bed
But when I see a damsel in distress
I will always do my best
To wipe away those tears that I dread

So, if you want to abuse me
I just gave you the recipe
To put me at your female beck and call
Make sure you’re in my sight
And I’ll try to make everything alright
As soon as I see that first teardrop fall

There is a reason for the tears Joe but I do love the line about them being fake or real as either way its a cry for attention and it obviously grabs yours my friend. Hugs Jan xxxx
