Slashes of Colour
SPLASHES OF COLOUR
Flowers are a splash of colour,
like a Monet painting of art
reflects in the river of life,
sends ripples of joy to the heart.
Dawning is a splash of colour,
when clouds have a red and pink hue.
A sign of a shepherds warning,
that today the sky may lack blue.
Sunset is a splash of colour,
as gold and red swirls in the sky.
this scene is always a blessing,
never fails to delight the eye.
Rainbows are a splash of colour,
their seven arched colours on view.
Nature gives a glorious show,
the earth's full of beauty for you.
