Notes About The Poem

Watching the cloud formations on a late Summer's day, I saw shapes in the sky which led me to write this poem.

Sky-Scene

Sky-Scene

An angel's harp in clouds mid-heaven,
with strings of misty vapour trails
				slowly by soft winds driven.

An image of beauty passing by,
formed in the clouds by an angel
				on an azure August sky.

A delicate white feather floating free
drifted to earth and brought the touch
of angels for you and me.

And the sweet music playing on high
				comforted as it spread, fading
				through an azure August sky.
