Sky Full of Rain
Sky full of rain. Road full of puzzles.
Roll up our trouser legs and splash through our troubles.
In the world of a child, it’s an important day.
Slide down the rail. Peel a banana.
Let’s hide an ice cream cone inside the piano.
In the world of a child, it’s an important day.
We’ve got bottle caps and treasure maps, a jar filled with bugs.
We’ve got pirate ships, potato chips and grandmother’s hugs.
We’ve got secret doors and dinosaurs and jelly on toast.
Peter Pan meets Superman; great Caesar’s ghost!
Cow on the tracks. Train on the trestle.
Jump on the bed and grab a pillow to wrestle.
In the world of a child, it’s an important day.
Make up a game. Play something special.
Straighten a candy cane and untie a pretzel.
In the world of a child, it’s an important day.
We’ve got rubber snakes and fishin’ lakes, a SpongeBob balloon.
We’ve got vacant lots and astronauts and trips to the moon.
We’ve got time machines and submarines, a beanstalk to climb.
Jackie Chan meets Spiderman; it’s web slingin’ time!
Sky full of rain. Road full of puzzles.
Roll up our trouser legs and splash through our troubles.
In the world of a child, it’s an important day.
