Notes About The Poem

Sky Blue

pretty in sunshine
puffy vagrant clouds drift by
grey peaks of mountains

blue jay seeks his tree
long before the fiery end
awaiting moonlight

lying in green grass
at noontime of blissful blue
peaceful daydream skies

It's been a very long time since I lay down and looked up at the sky, but I look up all the time to see what is happening in the sky. Amazing shapes we can see. Your work reminded me of childhood lying down and looking up. Thanks for sharing. Sara K
