Sky

The sky turns a disturbing grey
sounds of thunder roll by.
Trees start swaying toe and fro
As smells circle throughout the air.
feel the storm moving in.
Clouds swell and stack together
rain wash away your sorrows.
Looking to a brighter tomorrow.

Rain surely does have a cleansing power for the soul as well as the outdoors. Great analogy in your delightful poem! Love, Carolyn
