Skip the Dots

Pass away a lady passes by
Carelessly determined fair
At a loss not understanding where or why
Connecting dots a painful process

Once she skipped and twirled in wonder lost
Now a tougher test appears
Loss of balance dots from past post-scriptive
Times of pain and carnage nears

Calling up but no one answers her
She’ll rise again to make another try
All commencement leads to one conclusion
For all, the clear unspoken final lie
