Skill Will

I lacked the skill when I had the will
I lack the will now I have the skill
I’ve spent my whole life standing still
You think I’m rhyming? Nope it’s real

I can’t control the way I think
I can’t control the way I feel
And I do not resort to drink
depressed but I don’t use a pill

making sense and caring less
I’ve the will but not the skill
Confusion breeding pettiness
I want to move I’m standing still

Emotions high
Reality’s low
motive dies
Sanity goes

I wish my thoughts untangled mess
I can’t control the way I feel
To get by I’m now caring less
Acquired skill and lost the will
