Skeleton Tree

"Skeleton Tree" withered branches wane buried bones beneath tree trunk mummified death chant. legends lifeless limbs haunted hurricane swallowed breath of bloom denied. whispered memories hidden skeletal remains infest tainted tree. brittle branches bough parched to perish in black dust screams in effigy.

I've seen a few as their tormented arms wave over rocks on a wind swept shore. It is a gripping sight made more so by your words in this poem. Luv, Lizzie

the word bough is meant to relate as "bow" . but bough refers to tree bough so thought would get fancy for this write.. the tree looks so lonely.. so enjoy poets with luv..
