Skeleton Pen
Skeleton Pen
Can I write you a letter?
On blank paper.
I’m already dead.
Underground resting in shadows rest.
All dance on my grave.
In the moonlight, stay up late.
No tears for me.
Always free in the cemetery.
All be waiting for ya.
Always thinking about you.
All leave the darkness on.
Write poetry in dirt through a song.
Candles are gleaming.
The wax is melting.
All send you my letters to read.
Haven’t forgotten our sweet memories.
All wait no matter how long it takes.
Stop by to visit me at the grave.
A tombstone with your name.
Even though I’m dead, all carry the flame.
No need for flowers.
They live above me everywhere.
