Margaret~Talk about an AH-HA! Those empty broken shells really AH'haaaad me. YOu wrote such a powerful haiku...I am just learning this form and when I saw the word "proud" I was wondering if that were an emotion an animal has....I am so excited to see this one place so high in such a competitive contest!
