Sitting Duck
I see the perfect girl, yet I still refuse to accept the invitation
The means to acquire her beauty would not reveal themselves
the descending power did not fall down upon me
Lack of time, prior attachments, and incompetence had left me a sitting duck
now I sit... left with impertinent, inconsistent, wandering thoughts
without the greatness of her impression
or a quick return promising their reduction
