Sitatunga - An Acrostic
Small, striped sensuous in form
In strength mighty
Tenacious in the cooling mud.
An antelope breed, Sitatunga named
Treading water with the surfing hippo
Under a canopy of okoume trees.
Needing home always to be in
Gabon's forested world but
Already, the chain saws arrive.
