SISTERS
Sun coruscating on wild blue waters
Seabirds circling white and high
Waves pounding the eternal shorelines
Prayer unto the cloudless sky
Gazing out on the wide horizon
Seeing things that used to be
Fleeting visions of love unbroken
Wishing you were here by me
Stars strung shining in that black blue yonder
Moon high in the jaded light
Silence falling like a shroud of darkness
Prayer unto the lonesome night
Gazing out on the wide horizon
Seeing things that used to be
Fleeting visions of love unbroken
You stand smiling there by me
Sisters show devotion beyond measure
Nothing sacred ever dies
Sisters show just how to mine life's treasure
Prayer unto those loving eyes
Gazing out on the wide horizon
