Sister of Mine

You stood by me,
Through everything I have done.
You were able to see,
I was only having fun.
Even though you know my fears,
It was something you never told.
Now as old age nears,
It is your love I will forever hold.
Even though we used to fight,
And often disagree.
It would be over by night,
That is a guarantee.
I assure you sister of mine,
There is no need to succumb to rage.
We are just like a fine wine,
We will only get better with age.
