Siriusly

In the car, our radio Has stations we adore From a company called Sirius, Which we pay extra for. As Sirius subscribers, We get classical and blues, Plus the Beatles and a lot of Rock and roll from which to choose. But on New Year’s eve, our signal (For it’s satellite deployed) Just stopped working and so Poof! There went the music we enjoyed. Since it’s holiday, we couldn’t Reach a person to assist And the helpline couldn’t help us, Not an unexpected twist. We will follow up tomorrow, Though the irony, to me, Is that we had no such problems When our radio was free!

This is so true and sadly funny. The newer cars don't even have cd players in them and then they want you to pay to listen to the radio. Unbelievable. Also they have so much electrical and are mostly made of plastic. It's crazy what we end up paying for these days.

"And the helpline couldn’t help us, Not an unexpected twist." - this modernization lets us down more than the good-ole-days gadgets.

Yup. All these new knick-knacks not only do not solve problems, they create more problems. ~ 'Progress' as Headache

Hah… I’m chuffed, my fave band has a two hour dvd documentary, that I hadn’t got around to buying yet. Amazon suddenly announced that it was on special at half price. I bought it, I’m about to watch it. Sorry about Sirius… but I’m all right Jack!……. Sorry, Ilene, my inner demon grabbed me by the throat… of course I hope you’ve got your music back. Have a great new year. Terry
