Life has slowed in China cup, the Christmas recess
is satisfying as gifts are unwrapped, surprises revealed.
Headphones
antique tapestry
gift cards,
games appealed,
and many more things, but it’s the smiles
coming from the groggy lips of the miles
it took to spend the loving length of holiday
with family
its cache
gifts of this lifetime
time with grandsons does pay.
