Single Rose
Single Rose
Smiling like a single rose
on a cold and wintery day while walking
next to the river bed.
Just thinking about that experience brings
shivers to my mind, snow all around this
single red rose except the long green stem
standing ever so proud almost like
she was singing out to me.
No I did not pick her, as
I left for somebody else to take in her
beauty and they too could mingle while
the rose was smiling up at them as if
she were a mold of clay wearing a golden
glow that she could only grow.
