Singing Emotions Version 2
I lived in tears,
I live with fears;
No time for cheers!
Life was enduring
Life is long-suffering;
It was smothering!
Death was on my mind
Death wasn’t far behind;
This feeling was entwined!
The flames of love were weak
The flames of love I had to seek;
Of love, I cannot speak!
In disillusion, I drowned
In fantasy peace I found;
Yet with thorns, I’m crowned!
To laugh without crying
Having joy from sadness escaping;
Lasting felicity not diminishing!
Finding new pains
From rusted chains;
And idleness sustains!
