Notes About The Poem

Sing, Sweet Bird

I'm sitting by the pool and there is a refreshing breeze.
The wind is whispering softly to the birds in the trees.
The sun is surely smiling, and there are luxuriant skies.
The birds are singing sweet songs that mystify.

There is one bird singing a lovely song louder than all the rest.
It's like he is putting on a show, giving it his best.
Sing, sweet bird and serenade me
With your tantalizing song so full of glee.

God is listening from above to their melodious calls.
He knows even when a little sparrow falls.
How can you not appreciate this day that God hath made?
Nature is a masterpiece by God, which He generously displays.

Such a beautiful tribute to God's masterpiece of Nature, Brenda, and the lovely bird's song that can remind us of it. Congratulations on your placement! Hugs, Sandra
