Sing Sparrow Sing

Beneath a snowy window pane
A sparrow broke its wing
Laying upon the snowy ground
It still begins to sing

It sings of its many blessings
Through the sunshine and the rain
Singing loud its songs of joy
Forgetting about its pain

It sings about its treetop home
Where it hides its humble nest
It sings about its very first flight
And how it passed the test

It sings about the beautiful flowers
And how it loves their seeds
It sings about The Father above
That supplies all of its needs

It sings about the mighty winds
That change the clear blue skies
The sparrow sings its farewell song
And then it simply dies
