Sing me a song
Of the birds and the bees,
The melody of time
The lyrics of the wind in the trees.
Sing me a song
Of an angel sent from high,
Tell me of her warmth and grace
Her touch soft as a sigh.
Sing me a song
With a romantic tune,
While we dance together
Under the stars and moon.
Sing me a song
Of a love that never dies,
One so strong
With no boundaries or lies.
Sing me a song
Telling me of how it could be,
To be allowed to live and love
Together just you and me.
Sing me a song
To help me understand,
Why the hourglass of time
Is running out of sand.
Sing me a song
Of how I will make it through,
Once youre gone
Still wanting to share everything with you.
Sing me a song
Giving me hope once again,
That no matter what
We will be together in the end.
