Sincere Prayer

Need to pray alone
lips parting whispered silence
tone for heaven's throne

Joshua, I can relate to your message here. There are many times when I find myself talking to God when I am alone. Going to church and praying with others is good for the spirit, but I feel closer to God in the solitary moments you describe so well in your haiku. Love, Carolyn
