Listen to poem:

Simulacrum

Simulacrum
David J Walker

It was
	What I thought it was
But only because
I thought it was mine
And I would make it into
The next thing
that comes to mind
and call it love
	even if it kills me

Good thought.. My image of your poem is, as I look down and try to see an image I recognize and find what I was looking for camouflaged in nature. Enjoyed reading.
