Simply Put
Simply put-
The day is almost over,
The sun is finally setting-
The darkness comes about.
The darkness-
Bringing with it
Emotion beyond comprehension.
Look up at the night sky-
You will see a bright light
Shining straight down on all of your deepest thoughts.
The darkness
Around it fights to cover up those thoughts
Once more.
The morning comes,
You have made it through another night.
Alive. Free. Hopeful.
