Simply Put
What a mad world we live in
How long will it take?
Before we realise
We all make mistakes.
No one is perfect
Most would agree
Perhaps we should try harder
To live in harmony
Responsibility is needed
To show care for all
If this is not heeded
We are heading for a fall
Too much greed and corruption
An unhealthy need for power
Causes fear and disruption
That worsens by the hour
There seems to be no end
To the dissension and unrest
I tend to think
We all need a rest
When will it end we ask?
The answer is always soon
Do we have to wait
Until the cow jumps over the moon?
