Simply Fond
You light the fire,
in a world so cold.
You fire the light in heart,
that feels like gold.
Strong in mind.
Large in heart.
Defined only by individuality.
Ironic so it is.
Defiant you are by nature.
Imaginative of all thats surrounding.
No shame in being influenced by you.
Pure goodness. Pure enlightenment.
Your presence is delicious.
Eager pleas of craving sway my mind
when you are absent.
I surrender my mind to thoughts of you,
favorite place in mind.
Pure bliss, pure happiness, pure longing.
Senses slowed,
consumed completely of simple thoughts.
I am somehow cleansed by purity.
Seduced entirely by passion.
Heart racing at images of you,
anxious to be close.
No doubts clouding vision,
never far apart.
Nothing has ever felt so intimate,
while so out of reach.
Love, such a persistent thing.
