Simply Be

Although sometimes I’m senseless I can sense your painful cries Even though I suffer from some deafness I can still hear your quiet silent screams That no one else can cause of their deafened mind As I read between your lines Your story speaks silent volumes to me I feel some of what you feel And I see most of what you see Seems as this is how it was always supposed to be Our hearts beating as one I’m there with you, you’re here with me Yet miles separate us The love we share in together for one another Will just simply be Now will it ever be more than what it is now? Well I suppose we will have to just wait it out and see Maybe we can then make sense of the senseless painful cries That are still silenced to everyone else’s deaf ears Hear what we are saying instead of the quiet screams And just letting life pass us by Perhaps one day I will get to look into your eyes And from there read between those lines With no words being spoken, listening to your stories speaking volumes to me Always feeling some of what you feel Seeing most of what you see But for now still this is what is seems it’s supposed to be Our hearts beating as one Me being there with you, you being here with me The miles still separate But it’s in all so much more than just fate The love we share in together for one another Will still always and forevermore just simply be
