Simplicity of You
If I would describe us and keep it simple,
Then I would say comfortable,
But I know simplicity just can't show the world,
What a rarity of a friendship we hold,
You complete my insanity,
In a world that's losing humanity,
You get what I am could be and would be,
Without hesitation you'd follow my maybes,
You take me seriously when you have to,
You'd make me laugh when I'm blue,
You are my enigmatic sweet medicine,
My timeless innocence,
And so I beg you not to go,
I plead that you stay,
Beside me long after the world disappears,
To share every laughter and tears,
Because the simplicity of you,
Makes each complicated madness bearable,
Life becomes liveable,
And true love remains reachable.
