Simpleton

I ponder
A purpose
Beneath the furnace
A sentence
Of silence
You desert us
In question
Soul confession
You didn’t mention
Your intention
I remember when
I could have been
Something more than this
The possibility
Of loyalty
Crooked hands
Hold the strings
Sewn in self
Yarn of conscience
Thread of me
Placid tranquility
