Simple Surrender

Suddenly I'm surrounded by your eloquence
Taken aghast by the sheer magnitude of your grace
Overtly apprehended by the majesty of your eminence
Carefully commandeered and wonderfully whisked away.

And I am but a child, helpless and accessible to your wiles,
Tumbling to and fro while descending deeper into your possession
Passively I plummet in a blaze of apathy; thinking of you all the while
Never knowledgeable or intuitive about the destination of my progression

I alleviate all self control; languish my every God-given liberty
As I leisurely, easily, float into your embrace; a safe haven at last
I can sense you next to me, caressing me while I yearn 4 your energy
Freely I burn and every brush becomes a vivid memory eternally ours to rehash

Of a truth hardly anything comes close to this euphoric sensation
I am but a sacrifice on the alter of your insatiable appetite for my essence
Nevertheless, I refuse to fight; I want to give it all and succumb 2 temptation
As I bury my body you envelop my soul and begin my spiral of evanescence

I could lay here forever and release myself to you so tender
I wouldnt stray from you; so seduced by your splendor
I just pray that God blesses every seed that we choose to engender
He would make a way for us to endure the trials in life as long as we remember....
That it all started with a simple SURRENDER!!!
