Simple Faith

With so many people pushing from every side
As they came to see Him from far and wide
And as He continued to walk down that road
So did the crowd as the excitement overflowed

But there working her way in from behind
For it was her Savior that this woman came to find
Called unclean with such a hideous incurable disease
Maybe this man called Jesus would hear her pleas

She knew of His great Name having heard so much
Of life never again being the same with just one touch
Then finally, without any doubt, she touched our Lord's cloak
Jesus feeling the Spirit go out suddenly turned and spoke

Trembling in fear for now she could no longer hide
Her faith was so clear as she knelt down by His side
And with such wonderful relief she then heard Jesus say
You are saved by your belief go in peace in your way

Luke 8:43-48
