Notes About The Poem

Simon Says

SIMON SAYS, ASK HER OUT,
SO I DID.

SIMON SAYS, KISS HER,
SO I DID.

SIMON SAYS, TREAT HER RIGHT, SO I DID.

SIMON SAYS, BE HAPPY,
SO I WAS HAPPY.

SIMON SAYS, LOVE HER,
SO I DID.

SIMON SAYS, SMILE,
SO I SMILED.

SIMON SAYS, SHE'S LEAVING
LET HER GO, SO I DID.

CRY YOUR EYES OUT,
SO I DID

SIMON SAYS,
I DIDN'T SAY SIMON SAYS.

SIMON SAYS YOU LOOSE,
AND I SAID YES, I KNOW.
