Silverlining
(Although I have written a haiku on the same subject, I think this Sijo expresses my feelings in a better way.)
Rain swept away the debris of earth
and rivers flooded the lands
Panic sets off everywhere -
Fear of loss takes over the minds
On watching the clouds the old man said,
" Next year golden harvest
