Silver Kisses

Don't be tempted by the thought
Of silver kisses my dear
Their bite will drip scarlet
Don't listen to the call you hear

The the need for silver kisses
Can be addicting, it's fleeting
They will leave you with regret
They can stop your hearts beating

No more silver kisses dear
Don't bring this on yourself
I promise this feeling will pass
Go fill your need with someone else.

Hmmm, did you get this from the book? If so, I think it's a neat viewpoint since it would be from neither of the main characters.
