Silly Mistake

so i run very quickly out of there
as i usually do whenever things get me a little unglued
like a child learning how to swing
even that so pleasurable that it can't be explained
starts like everything else...very frightening

so i wondered on what to do,
go back in, wave ,say oops these things are like loops
wait for everyone to smile understandingly
welcome me with open arms
wearing those smiles we all like...rainbow sized

so i am stuck in the future of my yesterday
contemplating in my present in the past
that which might become the present of my tomorrow
lead me into yet another today stuck
in the future in the past, a present in yesterday

I like the essence of this poem and the flow of the words. We have to realize the moment and take hold of it and we move forward. The ancestors are sending their blessings. Welcome to Poetry Soup and keep writing. Blessings, Joseph
