Silentium By Fyodor Tyutchev
Be mute, keep secret now and hide
all that you wish, all that you might,
Let in the deep of lonely soul
It will be risen and be gone.
Be silent like the stars of night,
Behold again their speechless light.
How can heart say its hidden words?
How will somebody know your thoughts?
Will know he, why you're living for?
Spoken's a lie and nothing more.
Blow up, and you will see the clue,
Take it again with silent view.
Live in yourself and nowhere else,
There's world within your soul, but cells
of fairy secret thoughts unvoiced
with idle talkings these are noised,
with beams these spread new coming day,
Listen their song and do not say.
