Silent Walk
A wise man once had said to me
A silent walk can set you free
When trouble seems to follow you
Walk quietly until you lose
The jealousy that’s at your back
Avoid the things that aren’t intact
Since they can freely move around
To trip you up or slow you down
Before a baby learns to stand
He must crawl like any man
A solemn order nature sings
Can keep you safe from what noise brings
Sometimes the path that we must walk
Becomes confusing when we talk
So try and keep an open mind
Accept the dark just like the blind
Close your eyes but listen close
To all the things that mean the most
Take heed to things not meant to be
And walk your path so silently
