Silent Tears

Silent tears, silent words,
Flow quietly inside my soul, trying desperately to escape,
Silent tears, silent fears, sitting there inside my gate.

Silent words, silent tears,
I wish to express them out loud,
yet I stay silent, for fear of judgement all around.

Silent words, visible tears, visible to those who seek to help,
Where where you when I was happy?

I wish to reach out to those who are ready to listen,
with an open mind, and hands of gentle love,
A gift of something, that only some possess.

Silent words, silent tears, is this the way out?
I stand up in a room with those who say they care,
Yet nobody comes to give me a hug,
Maybe my pain and suffering is too much to bear...
