Silent Symphony

Every road laid has a purpose and design,
some are traveled less and some intertwine.
Beautiful destinations can be earned,
but its about the journey and what we learned.

In this quiet peaceful place you look up at the stars,
Existence, what's the reason for ours?
As you stare into the black abyss of space,
you can't find the answer you want to embrace.

Realizing that one day Earth will end,
and nothing will be here to attend.
Every dream and voice and intention is gone,
and no more is the break of dawn.

We had the greatest times on this rock,
but the time ran out on it's clock.
Once there was unimaginable beauty and laughter here,
Now an empty space, and now the reason for existence is clear.

We are blind to it and can't see,
our reason here is to just be happy.
