Silent Sitting

Sat in silence
Ill malfeasance
Lingering softly
Eerily' aloft he
Never did know
Carefree and slow
Eerie always lasts

Evanescenced ephemerally
Never fitting inwardly
Died today
So please pray

~The silence engulfed another victim, in the forest the tree heard him fall.

Enjoyed the penned lines..I am not sure if you are refering to one dying a natural death or if refering to dying emotionally..Question...Thanks for the kind review of my work about quiet..Your comments were so uplifting..Sara

I try to let the reader determine, but you are spot on that it could be seen as either. In this case, I think your second line of thought is accurate. I always find your poems and comments uplifting as well, thanks Sara.
