Silent Sins

Sitting there watching, A world so unlike our own, As it falls to pieces, Not speaking out against, What is wrong, Content to live in our own, Silent Sins. Ignoring the truth, As it is not happening to us, And in doing so, The living soon become the dead, Only adding to our own, Silent Sins. Knowing not how, nor why, We can be so content, Living as we do, While others shall suffer, Because of our own, Silent Sins.
