Silent Night

Silent night, silent dreams silent birds beside silent streams racing minds, racing cars razor's edge razor's scars blood trickles softly down blood helps this painful frown memories of days gone by memories that make me cry hopelessness as darkness falls caving in on me are these walls restless nights once again prayers spoken with no "amen" children asleep in their beds resting their weary heads dreaming of what tomorrow will bring as the heart in my chest remains aching for the one i lost so long ago and pierced my heart with love's arrow left me here to die alone as if cast aside like a stone silent night silent dreams silent birds beside silent streams
