Silent Mirror
Silence plagues my faithless acts
A silence I’ve come to revere
When in doubt of the strength I lack
The silence will trust in my fear
Twist and turn the souls I’ve touched
Possessed, the fire awakens
Dancing under my shadow’s eyelids
I turn before I am taken
Decision creeps only when I’m silent
Or else I just can not trust
Decisions made under painful promise
The things that I want turn to dust
I Dream my ways give me some small solace
Something to give as excuse
I’ll kill all those that can give me promise
I’ll kill all those that refuse
The silence dealt me an empty anger
I asked it what is real
The answer stared and I stood silent
The mirror will never be real
