Silent Drifter

I can be all alone
But it's all I ever need
A drifter without the need for home
A wanderer without the will to seek

An entire life failing in triumph
I do enjoy watching people fail
A darker being for that lighter return
A cleaner slate perhaps from a darken tale

How do I tell anyone what I want?
Because nobody will be genuinely interested
Most always have suggestion that cannot be done
Thinking they are geniuses for what could be wanted

The great length and extent people will resort to
I cannot help but be dumbfounded every single time
The kind of thing only humans like you and I will do
Am more than glad I'm alone and left behind

I can be all alone
Because it's all I ever need
That drifter without a country for home
A wanderer without the need to seek
