Silent Cries (Part 1)

Depression in my eyes
Can you see it
Despair in my cries
Can you believe it
You can’t see the insides
But they’re bleeding
And no bandages
To relieve me
Dreaming is one thing
But this right here is real
Truth be told
Not enough emotions to say how I feel
The sights of pills
Linger still
For the thought of peace
I would kill
Yearning for attention
I wish someone would listen
But my requests go unheard
Because you hear my voice
You don’t listen to the tone
So you don’t suspect anything’s wrong
While my heart sings a sad song
Screaming for escape
Praying the pain gets erased
